Born in 1966 in Weiden. Studied materials engineering at the Friedrich-Alexander University in Erlangen, graduating with honors in 1993. From 1993 until 1998 wiss. Assistant at the German Society for Chemical Engineering, Apparatus Engineering, Biotechnology and Environmental Protection (DECHEMA) in Frankfurt/Main from 1993 to 1998; doctorate at the Rheinisch-Westfälische Technische Hochschule (RWTH) Aachen in 1997; awarded the Borchers Plaque of the RWTH Aachen in 1998.
Since 1998 active in the entire field of patent, utility model, design and trademark law. Representation of clients before the German, Swiss and European Patent Offices, the European Union Intellectual Property Office EUIPO for the Internal Market (trademarks, designs), the Federal Patent Court and the Federal Supreme Court (nullity actions). The range of work includes obtaining, defending and administering intellectual property rights as well as their exploitation (licenses) and judicial and extrajudicial enforcement.
The legal knowledge and experience is combined with an interdisciplinary, broad-based technical education in the interplay of mechanical engineering, physics and chemistry, utilizing special knowledge in the fields of materials science, chemical engineering, automotive, aviation, high-temperature and coating technology.
Author and co-author of extensive scientific publications and member of numerous national and international associations and organizations in the field of technology and intellectual property (V DI, VPP, GRUR, LES, AIPPI, AIPLA, FICPI).

Dipl.-Phys. Gregor Kurt Rössling

Born in Berlin in 1984. Studied physics at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin and Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München, specializing in plasma physics, solid state physics and medical physics. Graduated as a physicist in 2011 and worked during his studies at the Federal Institute for Materials Research and Testing (BAM, Berlin) and the Maier-Leibnitz Laboratory (MLL, Garching near Munich).
Since 2012, initially working in intellectual property law (patents, utility models, trademarks, designs) as part of the training to become a German patent attorney.
Trained as a German patent attorney at a patent law firm in Duisburg, at the patent litigation senates of the Higher Regional Courts of Düsseldorf and Munich, at the German Patent and Trademark Office (DPMA, Munich) and at the trademark and nullity senates of the Federal Patent Court (BPatG, Munich).
Admitted as a German patent attorney, European patent attorney and representative before the Unified Patent Court (UPC).
With the LangPatent law firm IP Law Firm since 2016. Representation of clients before the German Patent and Trademark Office, the European Patent Office, the Federal Patent Court and the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO, Alicante).

Johannes Kakoures

Born 1980 in Starnberg, studied law at the University of Augsburg and the Ludwig-Maximilians-University Munich with a focus on labor law. Legal traineeship at the Higher Regional Court of Munich II and elective traineeship at the Public Prosecutor's Office Munich II.
Admitted to the bar in 2011 and since 2012 has worked in the field of intellectual property law, in particular in the areas of international trademark law, unfair competition and domain law at a Munich patent and law firm. Completed the specialist attorney courses in intellectual property law and information technology law. Joined LangPatent IP Law Firm in 2018, where he is responsible in particular for trademarks, designs, IP infringements and out-of-court dispute resolution.
Member of the Munich Bar Association, the German-Israeli Lawyers' Association and the German Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (GRUR).
Dr.-Ing. Irene Fischer (M.Sc. (Chemie))
Patent engineer
Born in Munich in 1986. Studied chemistry at the Technical University of Munich, specializing in physical chemistry and inorganic chemistry. Bachelor's degree (B.Sc.) in 2008 and Master's degree (M.Sc.) in 2010. From 2010 to 2014 freelance work in the field of development of phosphor converters for light-emitting diodes for the research and development department of a German technology group. 2015 PhD at the University of Bayreuth.
Since March 2014 patent engineer at the LangPatent law firm IP Law Firm, working in particular in the field of utility model and patent matters.
